This is my first and only (so far) 'serious' electric guitar, altough I've been playing electric guitar (A vintage and completely fcuked up Jolana made in socialist Czechoslovakia around 25-30 years ago) for 6-7 years before buying it. I will probably buy a Strat or maybe a Telecaster, because for certain musical styles I don't need the 7th string, and it would be more comfortable to carry around due to it's significantly lighter weight and simpler design. However, I would never sell this lovely instrument, and I use it extensively for live and recording applications as well, ranging from heavy metal riffs (recorded for my Goa/Psy trance tracks) to warm, smooth jazz tones.
Aria Mac Series 7 String Trimmer
My guitar experiences and gear: 15 years of classical guitar (I own an amplified classical Alvaro 800 E - another lovely guitar), also suitable for my recent craze for flamenco, a small, 30W Aria Combo for practice, which is still functioning, altough the membrane has slightly deteriorated (I've been using it for 10 years, treating it ruthlessly, and I bought it already used).

I've recently invested in a Hiwatt BSK-15-8 portable battery-powered amp, which has a great clean sound, and is also perfect for recording, because the use of DC power eliminates the typical 50Hz AC hum. For effects I use a Boss ME-50 multieffect, and many VST plugins after recording through and EMU 1820M audio interface.
