I had one of those belkin 'record to your ipod' USB mixers laying around and tried to use IT with a XLR mic plugged into USB.

and ONE snowball plugged into USB
same, can only chose one at a time
my point is, I want to record using 2 snowballs on 2 discrete tracks
as in, a interview with 2 people
obviously I can use the belkin USB mixer to mix 2 XLR mics and would be fine
but jeez!, I bought 2 snowballs for this very reason!
I wanna use 2 snowballs on 2 different tracks in garageband 09 for an interview podcast
I even downloaded soundflower hoping some magic would happen without me having to think
but no go :}
any help would be great!
