Except that SX3 itself wasn't cracked, the dongle software itself was. I was a paying steinberg customer since VST 2.4, and would use the crack on my laptop so i could keep the dongle in my studio on the destop system and not have to worry about losing it (since it costs the full price of SX3 to replace). Worked fine, plug ins and all, I never had a single issue with it in 2 years and dozens of songs.Native Instruments Ableton
I sold SX3 eventually when I went to an Intel Mac, and stopped using the crack too. Now if only Logic 7.2.3 was the same way, so I could stop getting somewhere far from home and realizing I left my stupid Apple dongle at home
Ableton will forever have my undying gratitude for not forcing those stupid things on legit customers....
